Have you heard? Marc Schollett of TV 7&4 helped the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail draw the winner in their raffle for a new Chevrolet Volt on Saturday. The lucky individual? Bill Janis, who tells us he intends to do his own (free) raffle among all his employees at Traverse City-based Century Inc. and donate the car to one lucky worker. Congrats to Bill Janis and congrats to the Trail, which raised more than $100,000! Officials say the next milestone is to raise enough funds to take the Trail to Empire.
