NorthSky Nonprofit Network is co-sponsoring a webinar on Thursday, October 4, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Northwestern Michigan College University Center. The session, "How to Turn Volunteers into Great Fundraisers," will move beyond the traditional practice of utilizing only board members as fundraisers, and will focus on how many different types of volunteers – including board members – can play an active role in all areas of fundraising, including events, individual solicitation, proposal writing and direct mail. Designed for entry- to intermediate-level executive directors, development staff and volunteer coordinators, the webinar can only be accessed from the classroom in Northwestern Michigan College University Center. The workshop fee is $12.
