The 37th annual North American Vasa Ski Races will be held Feb. 9-10, 2013, starting and finishing at Timber Ridge Resort in Traverse City. All events follow the Vasa Trail on professionally groomed tracks. Races begin on Sat., Feb. 9, with the 50K Classic at 8 a.m., followed by the 27K and 50K Freestyle, the 12K Classic/Freestyle and the 6K Juniors event. Later in the day, 1K and 3K races for children will be held. On Sun., Feb. 10, the Gran Travers 6K and 16K Classic races begin at 9 a.m. Online registration is available here.
