Beginning July 5, United Airlines will offer inbound and outbound summer-season weekend service between Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport and United's New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport. Airport officials say this first-ever service is an example of United's "continued commitment to the tourism industry and regional business traveler." United also offers nonstop service from TVC to its hubs in Chicago and Denver.
