A lecture series exploring the world's most famous shipwreck and its connection to Michigan will be held this weekend at NMC's Dennos Museum in Traverse City. On Fri., Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m., special guest Kenneth Vrana will present Michigan Connections to the RMS Titanic, followed by a question and answer session. Tickets are $25 and include a pre-event reception that starts at 6 p.m. The following evening, Sat., Feb. 9, NMC students will present the results of their nautical archaeology research in northwest Michigan and Vrana will present The Titanic Mapping Project. Program starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
