I wish they would put the roundabout ideas up for public vote so we could do away with study hours and dollars wasted in pursuing this idiotic idea of traffic management. They need to build a turn lane from 8th to 14th so that traffic can flow unimpeded in the two north and southbound lanes. They need to replace the sidewalk running along the west side of Division and tie in the bike path there. Pedestrian traffic will easily be able to utilize the turn lane as a waiting point while crossing the road. The addition of islands in the roadway would only complicate winter plowing.

It appears they need the park land to put in a roundabout. Roundabouts take up room! I don't know why the T.C. Commissioners are so hell-bent on constructing roundabouts throughout the city. Unfortunately, the vote by the taxpayer will come before the denial for a roundabout on US31/M-37 by the State.

what's up with this town? everyone wants to take away green to build more roads, buildings, etc. We are losing the beauty that everyone loves! while they are at it, they should (along with the city commission) adopt a city theme song - Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell.
