The Traverse City Police Department on October 16 arrested a Traverse City man after he went into a residence on the 600 block of East Eighth Street around 11 p.m., sat down on the living room couch and began drinking. The suspect did not live at the residence, and the homeowner, who was home at the time, told police he did not know the suspect and had never seen him before.
