Ski the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail

February 8, 2013
Ski the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail

Weather permitting, every Thursday afternoon volunteers are grooming the four miles of the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail from Glen Arbor to the Dune Climb for classic and skate-skiing. Groomers say the recent cold weather and near-daily fresh snow have created terrific ski conditions. Get the latest grooming info and trail conditions by visiting the Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes on Facebook.

I hit the trail for the first time last week (even though I live across the street from it) for a quick ski and I am now re-inspired to get out regularly! Thanks Tart trails
