The Traverse City Police Department has released still images of a person of interest in the assault that occurred on October 25. They are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual in the video. Here's what happened: On October 25 at 7:20 p.m., officers from the Traverse City Police Department were dispatched to an apartment in the 200 block of Fair Street in Traverse City. Information revealed that an eight-year-old boy, who had been playing at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center skate park with friends, had left and walked back across the street to his apartment. He was followed by an unknown male who waited for him to enter the door code of the building and followed him into the lobby area. Once inside, the unknown male subject inappropriately touched the young boy and exposed himself to the victim. The suspect is described as a male subject, around 25-years-old, shorter in height, with a tan and short dark hair that's spiked in the front. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts and tennis shoes.
