The JDRF Traverse City Walk to Cure Diabetes is this Saturday, September 22, starting at Sunset Park (next to the Holiday Inn). Festivities kick off at 8:30 a.m with fortune telling, face painting, Shutter booth, music and live broadcast. The 2.5-mile walk along the bay begins at 10:30 a.m. JDRF is a leading global nonprofit focused on type-1 diabetes (T1D) research.
