Public Art for Charity

MAD Cherries For Charity, an organization founded by students in NMC's Entrepreneurship program, are hosting a public art fundraising project (Making A Difference) that will benefit three local charitable organizations: the Women's Resource Center, Third Level Crisis Center and Freedom Builders.

Giant cherry sculptures decorated by local artists will be displayed around Traverse City between April 25 and May 18. Smaller sculptures are available for individuals and businesses to purchase and decorate. Interested in sponsoring a giant cherry? Contact Jonathan Steele, 231.714.4560 or jsteele.evergreen@gmail.com.
