Pleasanton Named Best Bakery

Traverse City's Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery has been named one of America's best bakeries by Food & Wine Magazine. Of the 16 bakeries listed, Pleasanton is the only one in Michigan, and just one of four in the Midwest. Hearty congrats to owners Gerard Grabowski and Jan Shireman, who brought their 1993-founded bakery to the former Fire Hall at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons in 2007.

Well finally the proper ink to back up what I tell every person I direct over there "oh you have to go to Pleasanton bakery while you're at The Village, it's the best bakery, no really - The Best.
When you follow your passion - there lies your path!

I completely agree! Congrats Pleasanton! Their natural yeast breads are THE best tasting and best for our gut digestion. If anyone is having digestion issues or is gluten sensitive, have them try this bread!
