Pick a Color. Feed a Family.

Pick a Color. Feed a Family.

Williams Chevrolet is kicking off its MSU vs. U of M Food Drive Challenge by rallying fans to fill one of two 2013 Chevrolet Silverados with non-perishable food items. Now through Nov. 14, one blue and one white model of the truck are parked in the dealership’s showroom, inviting people to fill their favorite team’s vehicle with food donations. Williams is one of 30 area businesses collecting food for the “Food For Thought Food Drive Challenge,” which is part of a semester-long service learning project led by NMC Professional Communications students. Their mission: to develop communication skills that are important in today's business environment while helping the community. Their efforts will benefit the Northwest Food Coalition, which distributes food to 47 food pantries in Grand Traverse and the surrounding five-county area.
