Closing today: the alley on the west side of the Old Town Parking Deck will be closed at the south end. It will be closed for two days while crews work on underground utilities. All businesses on the west side of the alley will have access to their parking lots from the north alley entrance off of Lake Street. The west entrance to the Old Town Parking Deck will remain open and will be accessible from Lake Street. Additionally: The sidewalk on the south side of the Old Town Parking Deck will be closed until November 15. A pedestrian detour has been provided. Why all the hubub? A new sanitary and storm sewer service is being installed for a new residential building at 119 E. Eighth St.
