Traverse City Central High School's Varsity Debate Team is the debate champ for the second year in a row. The team took top honors at the Michigan Forensic Association Varsity State Tournament at Eastern Michigan University over the weekend. It also won the Dr. George W. Ziegelmueller Trophy, awarded to the team with the best combined varsity and novice teams in the state. The novice team placed second in the tournament.
