One of the pilots who helped land a US Airways plane on the Hudson River in 2009 following a collision with flock of geese will speak in Traverse City next week. Jeff Skiles will appear with Trevor Janz as part of an "Evening with Aviators" event at the Traverse City Central High School auditorium. The presentation is a partnership between the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 234, Aviation Explorers Post M-22 and TCAPS Sci-Ma-Tec. Cost is $5, attendance is limited to 400 and registration is mandatory.
