The Teacher Academy at the TBAISD Career-Tech Center in Traverse City is the winner of the 2013 Excellence in Practice Award from the Michigan Department of Education Office of Career and Technical Education. The program is being recognized for its exemplary practices of providing students with rigorous academic and work-based learning opportunities that have led its graduates to successful post-secondary training and careers in teaching.
