Gladys Munoz is this year's recipient of the Sara Hardy Humanitarian Award – given annually by the Traverse City Human Rights Commission. Munoz has worked as director of language and cultural diversity at Northwest Michigan Health Services, providing interpretation services for non-English-speaking clients. She also provides translation services for other human service agencies throughout the area.
The award presentation will be held Mon., Mar. 18, at 7 p.m., in the Commission Chambers (City of TC Governmental Center). A celebration will precede the presentation at 6 p.m. in the training room (second floor).
