The National Writers Series has announced that Chip Johannessen, executive producer and writer of Showtime's award-winning television show Homeland, will kick off its 2013 season at the City Opera House in Traverse City. The Detroit native will appear Thurs., Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale today.
