The City of Traverse City and Charter Township of Garfield Recreational Authority are now accepting letters of interest and public comment pertaining to two resources at the Historic Barns Park at the Grand Traverse Commons: the Community Gardens and the Historic Barn (Building 206). First, officials are looking for a community organization to oversee the garden plots for the 2013 season and beyond. Second, officials are seeking input from citizens and community organizations on potential viable and sustainable uses for the Historic Barn.
