The Traverse City Commission holds its regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m. Among the topics slated for approval: rezoning request from the TBA Credit Union for its proposed new building on E. Front Street in Traverse City, and an amendment that would allow Accessory Dwelling Units (aka "granny flats") in the Traverse Heights Neighborhood. The City Commission meets in the Commission Chambers (2nd floor) of the Governmental Center on Boardman Ave.

Granny flats should be allowed city wide. Not just in the areas that the nuevo-richsters in town want to push them to... since they already have their's grand-fathered in.
