Get Ready for YetiFest

Get Ready for YetiFest

There's a new festival coming to Suttons Bay this February: the YetiFest. The monster event at center stage – a bicycle hill climb competition that'll go up the hill at Bahle Park no matter how icy, sloppy or snowy the weather – will be bookended by an array of other to-do's, such as a chili cook-off, microbrew tent, live music, an Abominable Snowman building contest, a snowmobile Concours d’Elegance, and a Yeti look-alike (OK, best beard) contest. The brainchild of the Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce and TART Trails Inc., the festival is slated for Saturday February 16. For more information or to get involved, contact Karen Pontius at 231 271-7423 or email karen@suttonsbaytrading.com.

Great idea for a festival, winter and early spring need fun, relatively low cost events to balance out the post holiday winter-blues.
