On Sept. 13, Scott Edson of the Traverse City Edson family will begin his 255-mile solo bike trek to honor his father Bill, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Scott and his family organized this event to help raise $20,000 for the Northern Michigan Alzheimer's Association.
