Two popular Downtown Traverse City events are coming this month. This Saturday, October 6, merchants will again host their annual Fall Festive Sale. Participating shops will be featuring store sales and specials and customers will be greeted with bushels of fresh local apples. Then on Friday, October 26 from 3:30-5pm, downtown will host its annual Halloween Walk, when costumed kids can trick or treat at participating downtown stores. Orange pumpkin signs will designate participants.

@Dave, as a mom I actually prefer it to start at 3:30 since my child is very little. It makes it nicer so he has a chance to trick or treat before the big kids come and he gets trampled. We love this downtown event. We will be there again this year!
