Crystal Mountain Announces Improvements

As the final weeks tick away on snowy 2012/2013 ski season up north, Crystal Mountain is announcing its plans for the off-season. A brand new Skytrac Quad Lift will replace the existing Buck Chairlift, first installed in 1978. The Buck slope, itself, will receive contour modifications and expansion of skiable terrain. Crystal is also improving its snowmaking and grooming systems with six new snow guns, automation of some of its snowmaking system and a new groomer that will allow the resort to open more terrain faster and keep the slopes open later in the season.

Me, too-- can't wait to make turns on Buck next season, particularly on terrain we open up on skier's right!
