Children’s Therapy Corner recently purchased four lots on Chartwell Avenue near Centre Ice and plans to break ground this spring on a new building. Their office is currently located at 808 S. Garfield Ave.
“Traverse City has waited a long time for this and we are finally ready for the next step,” says Janet Ringle-Bartels, owner of the privately-held company. “Present plans are for a building of more than 5,000 square feet, all designed to meet the therapeutic needs of the children we serve. This is an exciting time for our Traverse City location.”
The exterior will be similar to the Midland location, except the interior will have an Up North vibe right down to the fireplace.
Ringle-Bartels started Children’s Therapy Corner in Midland in 1997 and the Traverse City office nine years ago. The staff provides speech, occupational, physical and music therapies for children with a variety of needs, including autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, perceptual deficits, developmental delays and more.
