Cherry Stop Closing, Old Mission Traders Opening

The Cherry Stop is closing its doors at its current location at 211 E. Front in downtown Traverse City this weekend, and will reopen as Old Mission Traders next door on February 1. Owners Jamie and Nick Roster, who bought The Cherry Stop in 2005, will continue to produce their hand-crafted Cherry Stop product line using Michigan-grown fruits, but will expand to include more gourmet foods in the Old Mission Traders product line. The store will also continue to focus on the ever-expanding Michigan wine and beer market as well as Michigan-made gift items.
