Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital (M-72 E., Williamsburg) hosts a community cat adoption event today, 1 to 5 p.m., for 50 cats who were found living in an inadequate environment. The cats vary in age, sex and color; very friendly but malnourished. Dr. Peck and staff will neuter male cats and all will receive vaccines, be tested for feline leukemia, treated for parasites and bathed. Adoptions free, accepting donations to AC PAW. Also in need of foster homes for those cats that don't get adopted.
What a wonderful thing for this business to do. I am proud of them.
