Traverse City police are investigating a breaking and entering that occurred at the office of Dr. James Leete located at 1139 East Eighth St. Traverse City police officers were dispatched to the office on August 14 at 8:00 p.m. after an employee of the practice stopped by the office and noticed a broken window on the exterior of the building and items in disarray within the office. Employees are currently conducting an inventory of the office to determine what if anything was stolen in the incident. As a long-time patient of Dr. Leete, I hope the police find whomever broke in. I wish Dr. Leete and the entire staff well, and hope they are able to re-open soon.
