The Grand Traverse County Brownfield Authority hosts a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at the InsideOut Gallery in Traverse City's Warehouse District. The focus of the meeting is an Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) for the Hotel Indigo project. Conducting an ABCA is a requirement of utilizing Environmental Protection Agency funds to address contaminated conditions at the property. This ABCA recommends the best cleanup alternative and enables redevelopment. Interested in discussing the options? There will be two public hearings on the matter, both on October 31: 8 a.m. at the Governmental Center during the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority meeting and 7 p.m. during the County Board of Commissioners meeting (same location).
