Lydia is an intern at the Traverse City Business News and a student in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is a Traverse City native and graduate of Traverse City Central High School.

grand-grandparents had settled in 1864. She attended Michigan State
University and graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in
Journalism. She is a freelance writer, who has been published in several
